She obtained her medical degree in Europe in 1992 before moving to Australia, where she completed her mandatory Australian Medical Council (AMC) exams in 2000, achieving full registration as a doctor.

Dr Collins then embarked on specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology, working at St George Public Hospital and The Royal Hospital for Women, which are recognised leading, high-volume training institutions in obstetrics and gynaecology.  Here, she had the privilege of working under and learning from some of the best obstetricians and gynaecologists in Australia.

Dr Collins prides herself on providing comprehensive and caring antenatal care in partnership with you, starting from very early pregnancy. Dr Collins has a low caesarean section rate and she gives women in her care every opportunity to achieve a normal vaginal delivery including VBAC and offers delivery by caesarean section if requested (or necessary) after appropriate discussion.

Dr Collins has advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery surgical skills. She treats a range of benign conditions, as well as performing vaginal surgery. She is responsible for supervising junior doctors that are training in obstetrics and gynaecology at St George Public Hospital and is a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of New South Wales.

Dr Collins has two private consulting clinics that are located in Miranda and Kogarah. She lives in the area and enjoys living close by as it enables her to provide the best women’s’ health service from the region she loves. She delivers obstetrics patients at St George Private, St George Public, Kareena Private and Hurstville Private Hospitals. She performs gynaecological surgery at St George Private, St George Public and Kareena Private.

In her free time, Dr Collins loves travelling and spending time outdoors with her husband.
